A lovely traditional restaurant where you can try a great local food, especially kebab (minced meat) in pida( traditional bread), perfectly cooked and seasoned, I suggest to eat with the traditional drink( Ayran). The staff is so kind. The price is reasonable and the accessories and paintings has a sweet funny paradox with the traditional tavern. You’ll enjoy the food and the experience in total. It is located in the center and close by border. Highly recommended

I recently visited this restaurant, and it left a lasting impression. The atmosphere was absolutely beautiful and peaceful, with both indoor and outdoor seating available. The staff were incredibly welcoming and the service was impeccable. We ordered three different dishes, and each one was fantastic—delicious, flavorful, and made with high-quality ingredients. Before the main meal, they served a special bread filled with halloumi cheese alongside a mix of olive oil and balsamic sauce. This simple starter took me back to my childhood and reminded me of my grandmother’s cooking, which made the experience even more memorable. I’m truly grateful to all the staff for making this such a special visit.

Such a charming restaurant! Cosy and full of antiques. It feels like you set foot in the 1970s. Although it is located in the heart of Nicosia, which is very crowded ans has narrow alleys, there are parking lots available around the restaurant. I liked their meatball. I recommend you to take a walk around the place.

We came to Sabir after reading a review on this place and we were not disappointed. They only sell one thing - Kofte! This is the most delicious and amazing Kofte we have ever tasted, and believe me, we have had many Koftes in different countries. It's tasty, juicy and cooked to perfection. The owner prepares and cooks to order, so patience is needed. But it is worth the wait! We had it with the traditional drink (Ayran). Don't miss out on this when you are in Nicosia!
